President's Welcome Message
Jai Jinendra.
With the love and trust of our society, I will be serving as president for year 2009. This is an amazing year because it is 20th anniversary for our Jain center.
I would also like to welcome three new members Sharad Doshi, Hemen Gandhi & Jay Bhandari as "Member at large" position. In addition, Manu Shah for joining as our representative to JAINA along with existing representatives Manoj Dharamsi and Sushil Jain.
As we discussed in last General Body Meeting, due to restriction from Montgomery County, since we are unable to construct temple at this site we need to find new location. In an effort to accomplish our task, we have formed several sub-committees. These groups of dedicated people are working hard to ensure our dreams come true. The temple committee coordinator Prakash Mehta will provide more details during upcoming Mahavir Jayanti Program.
The Executive Committee and board of Trustees realize the urgent need to meet the growing demand on our facility. We have discussed various options for your consideration and implementations. By making these modifications in facility usage and schedule, we hope to plan more religious and social activities that you enjoy the most.
Mayavir Jayanti is around the corner on April 19th and committee is hard at work with its preparations. Almost all of our Sunday School Pathshala Kids are taking part along with a large group of adults. In addition, it is wonderful to note that our senior group also decided to take part in the program. But folks, please remember that this is not the only program that you want to participate, but make a habit to visit our temple more frequently and enjoy activities all year around. I urge and invite you to lend your hand in making our community ever more vibrant.
